My husband and I arrived for drinks, we didn’t have a reservation, the bar lounge was completely empty, we asked if we can sit to the right lounge area, mind you completely unoccupied, I told the hostess we didn’t have a reservation on a Tuesday afternoon as we were only there for cocktails, she said she had to ask her manager if it was okay, of course the rude manager looked me up and down. Completely offended by the experience my husband had at the restaurant. It's frustrating to be treated rudely, especially when the lounge area was unoccupied and we only planned to stay for cocktails. Thank god we were dressed up !! "looking you up and down" behavior, is generally considered unprofessional and disrespectful, regardless of the underlying reasons! Management skills needs improvements.
Service and ambience were good, and the little fireplace for chillier days was a really nice touch. The views were fantastic and definitely a highlight of the visit.

The menu was slightly different than what we saw online, and there weren’t many non-spicy options, which made choosing a bit tricky. The food itself was good, but felt slightly overpriced for what you get.

Overall, a great spot for the atmosphere and views, but check the menu in person before you go if you’re particular about spice!

Drinks are definitely pricey but you’re paying for the view too. Loved the vibe. Also one of the best drinks I’ve ever had!

Spent a delightful Sunday afternoon on Tues deck overlooking the ocean.

Easy access with free Valet. It’s a space that fills up quickly and stays that way on the weekends. For good reason.

Overlooking one of the choicest sections of beach on the California coast. Beautiful sand. Glassy water small surfable rollers at one end. No mass of hotels or commerce. Felt like a private beach.

Lots of shade makes it easy to chill out and relax. Lounge like couch seating up front. Bar tops behind and a network of oversized shade canopies. The slight breeze bringing soft gentle ocean air keeping the environment perfect.

A few steps down the stairs and you’re on the beach. It’s not crowded, even on a summer Saturday. Super walkable. Easy small waves lightly kicking the sand. It’s a remarkable location.

As you might expect, the food was really good. Substantially better than you will find almost anywhere along this coast line. A solid menu that delivers on the descriptions.

Staff was equally good. Way better than you’ll find in most restaurants. Happy to be there. Alive. Responsive before you even realized you needed to refill your water. Realistic in their description of the choices. And charming. Whoever does the hiring knows what they’re looking for and they deliver. A shout out to Tana, I’d steal her to be on my team.

All in all truly deserving of 5 stars.

We stopped into the Miramar Beach Bar just for a drink, and it was such a lovely experience. You park and walk through the stunning Miramar Hotel grounds, cross the railroad tracks, and the bar sits right above the beach with incredible ocean views.

It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a drink or light bites, even if you’re not staying at the hotel. With its relaxed coastal vibe and unbeatable scenery, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

As the other reviews have mentioned, this hotel is a SCAM! They falsely charge you for all kinds of things. Got charged $200 for breakfast that was suppose to be included. We asked several times to be sure and got charged anyway. Spent a whole morning with staff giving us attitude and blaming each other with no action. Do better, otherwise you’ll lose all of your customers. This shouldn’t be happening in a 5 star hotel over some eggs and bacon.

Let’s call SLS hotel a tax colector hotel, anything you do you have to pay taxes.. breakfast included but you have to pay taxes…
Coffee included but you have to pay taxes
Parking… ya 70$ per day…plus taxes
If you don’t mind walking there’s a parking space on 100n La Cienega that accepts overnight parking and it’s great if you’re looking for in and out parking but you have to use Spothero
Over all a good experience with great front desk support.
Clean hotel..

On our site we provide a list hotels with Jacuzzi or hot tub in room. But, not all rooms in these hotels are equipped with Jacuzzi or hot tub. Before you make a reservation, make sure you chose the right room that you wanted! For example, if you want room with these amenities, you need to select room with jetted tub, hot tub, jacuzzi or whirlpool on booking page (see image). Also, you can visually check in gallery if the room has any of these amenities inside.

On TubHotels.com, the term "Jacuzzi" is employed in a general context to denote any upscale jetted or whirlpool bathtub, and not specifically to indicate products branded by Jacuzzi®.
